School events bring learning to life and help shape our school culture. They help students build confidence, connect with others and celebrate their progress. Events also give families a chance to be involved in school life and share in their child’s achievements.

Lansvale Public School 2026 events
Easter Hat Parade
Dates: 2/4/2026
The school organizes an Easter Hat Parade where students create and wear festive, decorated hats to celebrate the season and showcase their creativity.
Stage 1 Zoo Excursion
Dates: 28/04/2026
Time: 8:15am - 3:30pm
Stage 1 will enjoy an exciting zoo excursion, where students will learn about animals and their habitats up close.
Gymnastics
Dates/Time: From 28 April 2026 to Tuesday 30 June 2026 (Gymnastic lessons will occur every Tuesday in Term 2. Each student will be involved in 9 x 40 minutes lessons.)
In Term 2, all students in Preschool, Early Stage One and Stage One will be participating in the ‘Zing Activ’ - Gymnastics program. Zing Activ will provide trained staff who will teach students gymnastics. Students will learn to interact and demonstrate appropriate social skills with their peers.
Stage 3 Camp
Dates: Term 4
Year 6 is heading to Bathurst for an exciting camp where students will experience gold digging and learn about Australia’s gold rush history.
Public Speaking Competition
Dates: TBC
Our school will participate in a public speaking competition, giving students the opportunity to build confidence and showcase their communication skills.
Pulse Alive
Dates: TBC
Our school will take part in the Pulse Alive event, celebrating student talent through music, dance, and creative performances.
Cantabile Choir
Dates: TBC
Our school's brightest vocalists ventured out to the Sydney Opera House to perform as part of the Cantabile Choir. Last year, Anthony from Year 4 who had a solo section. The performance was amazing!
Spelling Bee
Dates: TBC
Our school proudly participates in spelling bee competitions, giving students the chance to showcase their language skills and academic excellence. Through this experience, students strengthen their spelling, expand their vocabulary, and build confidence in a supportive yet competitive environment. Participation also encourages discipline, focus, and a love for learning. We celebrate every student who takes part, as the spelling bee is not just about winning, but about growth, courage, and striving to achieve one’s best
Science Incursion
Dates: Term 2
Our school’s Science Day incursion is an exciting, hands-on experience that brings learning to life. Students engage with interactive experiments, demonstrations, and activities led by visiting science experts, sparking curiosity and a deeper understanding of the world around them. The incursion encourages critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving, while making science fun and accessible for all learners. It’s a memorable day that inspires students to explore, question, and discover the wonders of science.
